Ceremony/Receptions requiring rental of the entire farm (over 50 guests) are scheduled Friday, Saturday, or Sunday during the daytime and must conclude by 10:00 pm, as required by Bath Charter Township. This means that the music stops and no more alcoholic beverages may be served. For Ceremony only, your wedding must be scheduled before 12:00 pm on a Friday or Sunday.
Rehearsals and rehearsal dinners may be scheduled at the farm during the week of your wedding. Rehearsals are to be no more than 1.5 hours.
In the event of inclement weather, your ceremony will be held inside the Event Barn. The set up for the ceremony to be held in the Event Barn will be the same set up as the reception. There will be no credit giving for inclement weather.
All decorations used outdoors are to be 100% biodegradable. Peacock Road Tree Farm does not permit the use of ladder, or the affixing of anything to the walls, ceiling or floors with nails, staples, push pins, tape or any other substance without prior approval from the Event Coordinator. Glitter, confetti, rice, artificial snow, artificial flower petals, chinese lanterns and fireworks, including sparklers, are not permitted; however, eco-friendly, biodegradable confetti is permitted.
Food & Beverages
All menu planning must be completed within ten days of your wedding/reception. All food must be purchased through Peacock Road Tree Farm or Spartan Hall of Fame Cafe.
Menu prices will not be guaranteed more than thirty days in advance. All prices are subject to Michigan sales tax and 18% service charge.
Alcoholic beverages are permitted with proper insurance, purchased by the wedding sponsor. A copy of the policy must be provided to Peacock Road Tree Farm Management.
All buildings on Peacock Road Tree Farm are smoke-free. Guests wishing to smoke may do so outside at least 5 feet from buildings. We reserved the right to ask guests not to smoke outside when conditions on the farm are dry.
The Client is responsible for the protection of all buildings, equipment and furnishings both during preparations and during the ceremony/reception. Damage or loss will be billed to the function sponsor. The Client is responsible for the conduct of all attendees during the ceremony and reception.
Peacock Road Tree Farm does not accept any responsibility for damage to or loss of any articles or property left at Peacock Road Tree Farm prior to, during or after the event.
All musical entertainment must be provided from Peacock Road Tree Farm's Preferred Vendor list.
Photographer, florist, ect. will be booked by the client in charge of each event and will be solely their responsibility.
Deposits & Cancellations
A $3,000.00 non-refundable deposit is required for ceremonies and/or receptions. At the time of initial booking a $1,000.00 payment is due to hold your date. The remaining $2,000.00 payment is due within 2 months of initial booking. Any outstanding balance is due ten days prior to your wedding date.
Cancellation of the wedding will result in forfeiture of all deposits and payments made.
Billing will be based on the confirmed menu, which is due 10 days prior to your ceremony/reception. Payment plans can be arranged, remaining balance due 10 days prior to your wedding. Within the 10-day period your confirmed order cannot decrease, but if you should find it necessary to increase the number of attendees, you may do so and we will do our best to accommodate the request.
